The compositions I make are often autonomous productions. Sometimes the music is created through collaborations with other (visual) artists, writers or musicians. Often, but not always, my pieces arise from existing or new* texts. The product is a piece of music to be performed or recorded. There are fully developed scores for most of my compositions, available from me upon request. Please contact me for more information

I do work on commission as well. I created a sound design for a podcast by Het Wil Konsult and wrote the soundtrack for several short video documentaries.
COMING UP: WORKING WITH BRITISH WRITER
In collaboration with the English lyricist and screenwriter Philip Greenacre, I am working on setting his beautiful and grand libretto Waylands Song to music. It will be a piece for baritone and small vocal ensemble, accompanied by piano and possibly a small selection of electronic instruments.

I am currently putting the finishing touches to number 4 (O Magnum Mysterium) of a cycle of 4 brand new Christmas songs, the Nativity Songs. The 3 other parts can be listened to below.

Finally, I also ‘compose’ by making video productions. Since 2016 I have made numerous audio and video productions commissioned by, among others: Jantien Kahn, Paul Dikker, Hogeschool Utrecht, Merlijn Twaalfhoven & de Turnclub.
